Priyanka highlighted the pervasive effects of narcissistic behavior on children, stating, “They get a lot of emotional trauma and they just don’t know what to do because when children are small up to the age of 15, their prefrontal lobe of the brain is not developed. This particular brain is basically responsible for logical thinking, analysis, empathy, and understanding what is right and wrong. It is all missing. So that time whatever they see within their family, they think that is only right. Yeah, they think it’s normal.”
The conversation epitomized the depth of understanding and empathy that is pivotal in addressing the multifaceted challenges of psychological wellness, emphasizing the profound influence of familial dynamics on a child’s mental and emotional development. These insights shed light on the critical importance of nurturing supportive and emotionally enriching environments for children’s holistic growth.
