Navigating Love and Astrology: A Tale of Healing and Understanding
In a poignant conversation with, Nikhil Taneja and Lenka Lorien (as shared by Nikhil Taneja) share an intimate narrative that delves into the profound influence of astrology on mindsets and relationships.
Lenka recalls, “So what, you’ve been in love with this girl, yeah? Everything was perfect. She was from Himachal, yeah? Everything like love, love, lovely. And then mother and father, and then we… yeah.”
Nikhil shares “Then we thought of getting married, and our parents met.”
Amidst the blossoming love and cultural convergence, a disquieting revelation emerged during the matching of horoscopes. “There were a lot of cultural differences in parents. So, but everything overlooked. We were like, ‘No, we have to get married.’ Yes. And when the horoscopes were matched, the priests and the astrologers, all of them said that this will not be a good union and it will affect my health,” Nikhil explains.
He shares his incredulity at the astrologers’ prognosis, “They said astrology, it won’t be for you. Yeah, it is like, if this union happens, my health will start deteriorating from day one. This is ridiculous.”

The enduring impact of this revelation becomes apparent as Nikhil reflects on its ramifications: “Imagine someone telling a mother that, you know, this is going to happen to your son. Yeah, yeah, it is not possible for her to go ahead with that, knowing that someone has told that, even if it is not true.”
In the wake of this mystifying prediction, Nikhil perceives the lasting impact on his mother’s mindset: “Now, my mother has that mindset or that thought planted in her mind that this marriage might cause harm to my son. Yes, if tomorrow I get married, right, and even a mosquito bites me, yes, or I have a viral fever, basic, she will blame the girl.”
This eye-opening account underscores the profound sway of astrological beliefs on personal relationships and wellbeing, casting a vivid light on the intricate interplay between tradition, love, and individual conviction.
