Unveiling the Path to Inner Transformation: The Journey of Dr. Trupti Jayin in Past Life Therapy

Dr. Trupti ‘s journey into the realms of psychology began at G.S. Medical College, Mumbai, where she embarked on her path as an Occupational Therapist. However, her thirst for knowledge and her innate curiosity led her to pursue further studies in Clinical Psychology, obtaining both M.A. and M.Phil. degrees from Bombay University.

Her quest for understanding the human psyche didn’t stop there. Dr. Trupti delved into various psychotherapeutic techniques, honing her skills in Gestalt Therapy under the tutelage of a German priest and mastering the art of psychodrama workshops with schools. She immersed herself in Narrative Therapy, EMDR, NLP, and Bernian Transactional Analysis, each adding a unique hue to her therapeutic palette.

Dr. Trupti ‘s passion for healing extended beyond the confines of traditional therapy rooms. For over a decade, she has spearheaded the Zen Den Counselling Team at the Lokhandwala Foundation School, touching the lives of countless students with her compassionate guidance.

But her heart beats for the marginalized, the voiceless. For fifteen years, she dedicated herself to the Spastics Society of India, offering her expertise to differently-abled children. She lent her support to the Domestic Workers Union, aiding in trauma healing, and collaborated with Educate Girls Globally as a Psychological Consultant, empowering young minds. Additionally, Dr. Trupti has done workshops on stress management with Infosys, Bayer India, and Deutsche Bank, further extending her reach and impact in the community.

Her journey into Past Life Therapy began with a deep dive into transpersonal psychology, learning from luminaries like Dr. Athavale, Dr. K. Newton, Dr. Brian Weiss, and Chris Hanson. Over the past 25 years, she honed her skills in Hypnotherapy and Past Life Therapy, becoming a pivotal figure in its promotion. Her pivotal moment arrived during the two prime-time seasons of “Raaz Pichle Janam Ka” from 2009 to 2010, where she brought the esoteric practice of past life regression to the forefront. Through 108 live regressions on the show, she not only became a household name but also made Past Life Therapy a familiar concept to millions, sparking widespread interest in this spiritual science.

Dr. Trupti ‘s influence transcends borders. From the bustling streets of Mumbai to the serene ashrams of Rishikesh, she has conducted workshops and retreats, sharing her wisdom with eager seekers. Her international endeavors in London, Bradford, Hong Kong, and Nepal have garnered her acclaim, drawing crowds hungry for spiritual nourishment. 

She has appeared on several television channels like NDTV, Zee, India TV, Aaj Tak to speak on talk shows. She has appeared on Ted Talk in 2016. She has been invited as a speaker on India Today symposium and featured as one of the eleven Spiritual masters in a book by Sneha Mehta.

For the last 25 years, she has been a stalwart at a psychiatric hospital called Cosy Clinique in Mumbai, collaborating with the city’s best psychiatrists. Her healing work through past life therapy has been deeply appreciated by the medical fraternity. Since 2020, she now operates from home, as her travel commitments have increased.

Dr. Trupti ‘s accolades further underscore her impact. The Hira Manek Award for Best Doctor in 2010, bestowed by the Diamond Merchant Chamber for her efforts in popularizing Past Life Therapy, stands as a testament to her pioneering work. Additionally, she has been honored by Rotary, Giants, Jaycees, and Inner Wheel Organizations over the years for her contributions to the field of mental health.

Dr. Trupti ‘s academic contributions are noteworthy. She has presented papers at prestigious conferences like the Association of Research in Reincarnation (2011, 2013, 2018) and the NCTA on Transactional Analysis and Regression (2016/17). Notably, she addressed a distinguished gathering at Ayodhya in the first conference on Rebirth and Reincarnation organized by the Shankaracharya of the Sringeri Math. Additionally, in March 2024, she served as one of the Wisdom Mentors at the First Global Spiritual Mahotsav held at Kanha Shantivanam in Hyderabad, organized by the Ministry of Culture and Heartfulness.

In 2020, ‘The Black Hole,’ a documentary by the French Archaeological Institute in Paris, showcased Dr. Trupti ‘s work, delving into the depths of the mind through past life therapy. The film received acclaim at the Locarno Film Festival. Additionally, her YouTube channel features series like Purnamadah (real past life experiences), Mritunjaya (series on death and dying), and SamaStithi (100 meditations in 100 days). Dr. Trupti also shares her insights regularly through daily posts on her Facebook Blog and Instagram.

Dr. Trupti ‘s impact extends to her extensive work with individuals, having conducted nearly 7000 individual regressions, while hundreds have benefited from her workshops. Furthermore, for the past decade, she has been imparting her wisdom by teaching past life therapy at Yoga Niketan Ashram in Rishikesh.

Despite her accolades and widespread recognition, Dr. Trupti remains grounded in her mission to heal. Her recent endeavors include the development of Ancestral Spirit Release Therapy (ASRT) and the forthcoming publication of her book “Beyond to Bliss – A New Paradigm of Healing,” promising to illuminate new pathways to wellness.
