Kushal’s journey towards sustainability began with in-depth research into eco-friendly products. He tested various brands and advocated for plastic-free alternatives within his family. From toothbrushes to garbage bags, he sought to eliminate plastic from his home. This personal commitment led to the creation of Eco Lelo, aimed at guiding others to achieve a similar transition.
Eco Lelo’s Mission and Impact
Eco Lelo’s mission is straightforward: “To make all consumers switch to a better alternative, which is a sustainable option for you and our mother earth in the long term.” In the latter part of 2022 and early 2023, Kushal engaged with brands to secure products for Eco Lelo. The official launch in April 2023 marked the beginning of their effort to facilitate easier access to sustainable living.
In its inaugural year, Eco Lelo made notable progress. The company participated in events such as the Lil Flea in Mumbai and the Purvai Flea in Surat, delivering over 700 products. Through their sale of reusable period panties, they diverted around 1,700 single-use pads. They also provided more than 350 plastic-free spa bars, all free from harmful chemicals.

Bare Necessities: Offers a range of personal care items including body spa bars, moisturizers, lip balms, and multi-surface cleaners. Their products are packaged in compostable or reusable materials, and are 100% vegan and free from harmful chemicals.
Ecomantraa: Provides bamboo toothbrushes, toothpaste tablets, and bamboo earbuds, offering a low-cost, high-quality alternative to plastic products.
Nushu: Specializes in reusable period panties, available in five styles, including lace. These eliminate the need for disposable pads and offer a comfortable, sustainable option.
Saathi Pads: Known for biodegradable pads and menstrual cups made from bamboo and banana fiber, setting a new standard in eco-friendly menstruation products.
BECO: Offers laundry sheets, compostable garbage bags, floor cleaning sheets, and bamboo kitchen towels, all PVA-free and highly practical.
Eco Cushion Paper: Provides honeycomb paper as an alternative to bubble wrap, ideal for protecting products during shipping.
