A Journey Towards Wholeness: The Story of Lydia Keeney’s Healing Journey

From a dark night of the soul to helping others heal, Lydia Keeney shares how she embraced her present, rediscovered her true self, and is now helping others to do the same.

Lydia Keeney’s journey as a healer began at the young age of 8 when she discovered her spiritual healing gifts. Over the years, she had the privilege of learning from numerous mentors who helped her nurture and expand her abilities in healing and mediumship.

In Lydia’s early adult years, a severe corn allergy became the catalyst for a profound transformation in her life. This health crisis led her into what is often referred to as a “dark night of the soul.” It was during this challenging period that she realized the incredible power of the mind-body connection. Hitting rock bottom, she reached out to the universe for guidance, and remarkably, within just one month, she received the profound help she had been seeking.

The root of her allergy was connected to repressed sexual trauma. This finding sparked a journey of deep emotional, mental, and spiritual healing, ultimately resulting in the complete cure of her corn allergy. This transformative experience solidified Lydia’s commitment to dedicating her life to assisting others on their healing paths.

In 2019, Lydia and her husband moved from the USA to Paraguay, South America, altering their perspective and shedding light on a profound realization: they were both born and raised in a cult. Growing up as a woman within that environment meant learning to abandon herself, mistrust her inner voice, and silence her own guidance.

Following Lydia’s journey of rediscovering her voice, reconnecting with her heart, and trusting her inner guidance, she now crafts spaces where others navigating the deconstruction process can reclaim themselves and find liberation once more.

Lydia offers two tips to those just beginning their wellness journey:

1. Embrace Your Present: You are right where you need to be on this journey. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed by where we want to go, but practicing grace, patience, and self-kindness helps. Remember, you’re exactly where you should be. Time isn’t slipping away; it’s unfolding perfectly, what is for you will not pass you. Letting go of heavy expectations you or someone in your life has placed on you can make all the difference as you move forward.

2. Rediscover Your True Self: This journey isn’t about seeking something outside yourself. It’s a gentle return to your core. Embrace every shade of your being, and as you the beliefs and habits that no longer serve you, you will naturally step into a deeper understanding of your authentic self.

Lydia envisions the future of wellness and spiritual healing as a more prioritized and compassionate landscape in the US. As we move forward, she believes we are going to see more healed people and less collective pain.
