Dr Bianca Baciu

About

Dr Bianca Baciu is a somatic practitioner, developmental-trauma educator and Reiki Master based in Edmonton, Canada — and, in a parallel and ongoing life, a doctorate-trained classical pianist. Her work lives at the meeting point of the body, the nervous system and sound.

Drawing on Somatic Experiencing®, Parts Work, Transforming Touch® and Polyvagal Theory, Bianca helps clients move out of chronic stress and trauma responses and back into a felt sense of safety. Her sessions are gentle, body-led and deeply attuned — less about analysing what happened, and more about helping the nervous system complete what it could not at the time.

She works with a wide range of people: youth and adults carrying somatic stress and trauma, those navigating anxiety, depression or the autism spectrum, people with auditory sensitivities or sleep difficulties, and — close to her own heart — performing artists facing performance anxiety, burnout and injury.

Her offerings include the Safe and Sound Protocol (a Polyvagal-based auditory intervention for nervous-system regulation), Somatic Trauma and Stress Release, her own Vision Somatics™ model, Conditioning for Performing Artists™, Reiki, sound healing, yoga and meditation, and classical piano instruction through The Piano Studio.

Sessions are available online and in person from Edmonton.
