How physical products bought on Dharte are shipped — domestically and internationally — and what to expect for digital memberships and events.
How shipping works on Dharte
Dharte is a verified marketplace. Physical products — Ayurvedic skincare, single-ingredient foods, organic supplements, ritual goods, instruments, textiles and more — are listed and sold on Dharte, but fulfilment is handled directly by the member / vendor who sells them.
When you place an order through Dharte's Stripe checkout, the order details (your name, shipping address, contact and item) are routed to the vendor. The vendor packs and ships from their own warehouse or studio. Tracking, delivery and post-purchase support come from the vendor — Dharte handles the marketplace, the verification and the payment rails.
- Marketplace: Dharte verifies vendors (KYB), publishes their listings and runs checkout.
- Fulfilment: the vendor packs, ships, tracks and stands behind the product.
- Support: the vendor is your first point of contact for any post-shipment query.
Domestic shipping (within India)
Most Indian vendors ship via Bluedart, DTDC, Delhivery, India Post Speed Post or Shiprocket. Indicative rates are below — the exact charge for any product is calculated at checkout based on the vendor's actual rate card and your delivery PIN code.

Standard delivery: 3 – 6 business days in metros, 5 – 10 days for tier-2/3 / remote PIN codes. Express (Bluedart Apex / Delhivery Plus): next-business-day in metros where serviceable.
International shipping
International orders ship via DHL Express, FedEx International Priority, or Aramex depending on destination, weight and the vendor's account. Volumetric weight (L × W × H ÷ 5000) is used when it exceeds the actual weight. Rates below are indicative pre-tax/duty figures — the exact charge appears at checkout.

Customs duties & import taxes (international)
Shipping rates above are door-to-door carriage charges only. They do not include customs duties, import VAT, GST, sales tax, or any local charges levied by the destination country. These are the buyer's responsibility and are typically collected by the courier on delivery (DHL/FedEx Duty & Tax Forwarding) or invoiced separately.
- UK: 20% VAT + 0–6% duty (depending on HS code) on shipments > £135
- EU: 19–25% VAT (varies by country) + 0–6% duty
- US: No federal VAT; duty 0–10% on most wellness/lifestyle items; de minimis ≤ $800
- UAE: 5% VAT + 5% customs duty above AED 300
- Australia: 10% GST applies to all imports; duty on goods > AUD 1,000
Vendors will declare the correct HS code, item value and country of origin on the commercial invoice. Buyers should expect to pay duties to the courier before the parcel is released for final delivery.
Tracking & delivery
Once your order ships, the vendor sends you a tracking number by email — Bluedart, DHL or FedEx tracking links work in any browser, no account needed. Most international shipments are signed-for and include real-time tracking updates.
If a parcel is delayed, missing or arrives damaged, contact the vendor first (their email is on the order confirmation). For unresolved issues, write to hello@dharte.com with your order reference and we will mediate.
Free shipping & thresholds
Many vendors offer free or flat-rate domestic shipping above an order value (typically ₹999, ₹1,499 or ₹2,499 for India). International free-shipping thresholds, where offered, usually start at ₹15,000 / £150 / $180 per order. Any free-shipping promotion will be displayed on the product page and applied at checkout.
Digital memberships & events (no shipping)
Memberships, the Promoter Course, networking calls, online events and recorded workshops are entirely digital — there's nothing to ship. Activation timelines:
- Standard Membership — activated within one business day of payment.
- Premium Membership — activated after KYB verification, typically 3 – 5 business days.
- Paid events / workshops — Zoom / cohort access emailed immediately on payment.
- Free events — Zoom link delivered after RSVP.
Issues with a shipment or activation
For physical orders, contact the vendor first. For activation issues, missing event access or escalations on a vendor-fulfilled order, email hello@dharte.com with your order reference and we will resolve it the same business day.
