Sigrid Lindemann

Sigrid Lindemann arrived in Auroville in 1987. She had come from Bremen, Germany, where she had studied mathematics and physics — a background that, surprisingly, prepared her perfectly for what came next. Within her first days in Auroville she encountered homeopathy. Thirty-eight years later, she is one of the most senior classical homeopaths of the Sankaran Sensation Method anywhere in the world, and a cross-continental bridge between German rigour and Indian spiritual practice.

Her clinic, Integral Health, sits in the centre of Auroville and receives patients from all over the world. She has practised classical homeopathy since 1998 and holds the rigorous German certification of Heilpraktiker (healing practitioner). For over 15 years she trained intensively with the legendary Dr. Rajan Sankaran of Mumbai’s “Bombay School,” and she has now been teaching homeopathic doctors in Germany since 2004 — 6-day Barcelona Intensives, 3-day seminars on Deep Case Taking, Birth, Children, and Psychiatry and Homeopathy — all fully accredited by the German Homeopathic Doctors Association (DVZHAE) and SHZ. She is a faculty member of WISH (World Institute of Sensation Homeopathy).

What makes Sigrid’s work unusually rich is what she has layered on top of classical homeopathy. She is a certified clinical hypnotherapist and teacher (EKAA), a Transpersonal Regression Therapist certified with TassoInternational, and the developer of her own integrated modality — Integral Regression Therapy — which weaves together the Integral Yoga of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother, inner child work, regression therapy, energy work, and trauma therapy. She has worked with PC Remedies (after Harry van der Zee) for diabetes, high blood pressure, Lyme disease, and trauma, and been published repeatedly in Spectrum, Homeopathic Links, and other international professional journals.

Beyond her clinical practice, Sigrid organises workshops and weeklong retreats via the Jiva platform — an international collaboration of Auroville therapists working in trauma therapy, holistic health, horse-assisted therapy, hypnotherapy, and breathwork. Her work, in her own words, is rooted in three simple foundations: touch, safety, and being truly heard. For decades she has quietly given free homeopathic treatment to Aurovilians while funding her own life through her teaching abroad. In an era when so many modalities compete for attention, Sigrid’s career is a reminder of what it looks like to go very deep with one — and then let everything else accrete around it, slowly, only as the work asks for it.
