Dr. Preet Chugh
If you meet Dr. Preet Chugh in her clinic tucked into Hiranandani Gardens, Powai, you’ll quickly realise that for her, consulting a patient is not a ten-minute exchange about symptoms. It is a conversation about the whole person — the body, yes, but also the mind, the mood, the lifestyle, and the story behind the illness. It’s a style she trained into from day one, having begun her medical journey at Mumbai’s YMT Homeopathic Medical College in 2006 and then mentoring under the legendary Dr. Farokh Master.
Eighteen years later, that patient-centred approach is the foundation of Nishiv Homeopathic Wellness Centre, her Mumbai-based practice. Dr. Preet treats a surprisingly wide canvas of conditions. On one end sit the complex and chronic — schizophrenia, asthma, hormonal imbalances, recurrent kidney stones, diabetes. On the other end sit everyday concerns — migraines, acne, emotional burnout, stubborn skin flare-ups. The glue between them all is her belief that true healing must address the root, not just the rash.

Her practice is multi-disciplinary in a way few homeopaths attempt. Alongside her BHMS, she is a certified cosmetologist and an NLP (neuro-linguistic programming) coach — which means she can rewire limiting thought patterns in the same consultation where she prescribes a constitutional remedy. Her skincare treatments are gentle, homeopathy-supported, and explicitly designed to work without harsh chemicals.
Dr. Preet has also created her own line, Dr. Preet’s Organic Skin and Hair Care Elixirs. The range includes a moisturiser enriched with vitamin E and shea butter, an anti-dandruff essential-oil hair blend, a face cream for acne and pigmentation that addresses psoriasis, eczema, and lichen planus, a rosemary-and-black-seed hair growth serum, a vitamin-C face brightener with argan oil and hyaluronic acid, and even a homemade lip butter. Every product reflects her conviction that care of the outside must honour the chemistry of the inside. For her patients, that’s not marketing — it’s exactly the kind of thoughtfulness she brings to every consultation.
