Arpita Thakkar
Walk into one of Arpita Thakkar’s workshops and the first thing you notice is not a veil of mystique but a disarming warmth. She tells stories. She uses examples from her own life. She cracks the occasional small joke. And somewhere between her gentle explanations and her effortless command of her subject, even the most sceptical beginner finds themselves leaning in — asking questions they didn’t know they wanted to ask.
Arpita is one of India’s most recognised teachers of the Akashic Records, the ancient concept of an energetic archive of every soul’s past, present, and future. But her expertise stretches much further: she is a Reiki Grandmaster, a tarot card reader, a certified Angel Guidance facilitator, a Bach Flower therapist, a pendulum-dowsing teacher, and a master of switchwords, automatic writing, and Humkara with Haleem. Over a decade of practice has let her braid these modalities together into readings that are both practical and profound.
Her work has been formally recognised too. She received the Naari Shakti Award in 2017, has been named the Best Akashic Records Coach three separate times, and in 2023 was presented the Golden Glory Award by Bollywood actor Parineeti Chopra for being the “Most Profound Alternative Therapist Specializing in Training and Healing Through Akashic Records.” Her work has featured in Femina, Gyankalash, and Wedzilla.
What she is most proud of, though, is quieter: over 1,000 students trained globally in Akashic reading, and over 1,000 personal readings given — every one of them still conducted personally by her. She is the author of two books, Turning the Mind Lights On and Akashic Records: Unlock to Unblock You, and the creator of the Ganesha Guidance Oracle Cards — a divination deck she designed herself. Her two signature programmes, The Love Frequency Workshop and The Akashic Abundance Course, have become rites of passage for seekers who want to heal relationships, clear karmic clutter, and call in prosperity. The thread running through all of it is the simple belief she often repeats to her students: your circumstances, your failures, and your doubters don’t define you. You do.
