Kamna

April 2026 · 3 min read

On Instagram, Kamna goes by @ihf_wellness_coach, and with over 22,000 followers, her feed has become a gentle, daily prompt for anyone trying to move through life with a bit more ease. She holds a rare claim in the Indian fitness landscape: she is the country’s first Chi Tai Chi yoga trainer — a discipline that fuses the flowing, meditative movements of Chinese Tai Chi with the breath-work, alignment, and grounding principles of classical yoga.

Chi Tai Chi, as Kamna teaches it, is wellness for people who have tried the punishing workouts and realised they no longer want to earn their fitness through suffering. The practice emphasises slow, precise movement; full awareness of breath and balance; the cultivation of chi (life energy) as both a physical and emotional resource. Clinical research on traditional Tai Chi has linked regular practice to lower blood pressure, reduced stress and anxiety, better bone density, fewer falls in older adults, and gentler pain relief for conditions like knee osteoarthritis. Kamna’s contribution is to translate that evidence-backed tradition into a form Indian students can adopt easily, without needing to cross a cultural bridge first.

Her coaching spans two main channels. One-on-one and online training takes clients deeper into personal practice — ideal for people rebuilding from burnout, chronic pain, or simply the fatigue of sitting at a desk for ten hours a day. A corporate training vertical brings her work into companies as part of workplace-wellness programmes. Between classes, her Instagram is a flow of practice clips, encouragement, and the kind of uncluttered wisdom that lands better in a short reel than a long article.

Kamna is also the founder of @fortunaa.gifts, an allied brand that extends her wellness philosophy into thoughtful, intentional gifting. Between these two worlds — mind-body practice and object-as-gesture — she has built something that reflects her core conviction: that small, deliberate acts of care (for a body, for a friend, for oneself) add up over time into a life that feels fundamentally more spacious. For anyone looking to move slowly and improve thoroughly, she is a coach well worth following.
