Vartika Mehta
Vartika Mehta has been on this path for twenty years. She finished her Master’s in Food and Nutrition in 2007, but her first yoga certification came even earlier, in 2005 — and since then she has refused the false choice between ancient and modern. She is today one of India’s most qualified health and nutrition consultants, and the founder of Aadi Samhita, an institute dedicated to spreading wisdom across the fields of health and wellness.
What makes her work distinctive is the integration. Her core model combines three sciences that are rarely held together under one practice: Yoga × Nutrition × DNA analysis. Each offers something the other can’t. DNA analysis reveals the body’s unique blueprint — how it metabolises caffeine, tolerates lactose, processes fats, responds to exercise. Modern nutrition translates that information into actionable food choices. Yoga, with its philosophy of achar (conduct), vichar (thought), and vyavhaar (relationships), adds the behavioural and psychological layer — the cognitive-behavioural techniques that reshape the negative beliefs around food, the meditation that fosters emotional clarity, the community that supports adherence.
Her reputation has carried her far. She has been invited as a speaker to the High Commission of India (Seychelles), Arogya Bharti, RSS, JITO, and to various schools and universities across India. She works with a range of clients — people battling chronic gut issues, stress, sleep problems, weight plateaus, and complex relationships with food. Unlike many nutritionists who dispense standardised diet charts, Vartika works with minor lifestyle changes tuned to each client’s unique constitution. Her clients frequently remark that her interventions are “doable and practical,” and that she “understands human bodies and their functioning.”
Aadi Samhita offers Wellness Coaching Programs for clients who have tried every trend and found none of them sticky. A 3-month coaching programme typically starts with workshop-level education and moves into deeply personalised meal planning, gut-health work, and behavioural support. Vartika’s guiding conviction is that the wisdom we need is already in us — encoded in our DNA, in our yogic traditions, in our own bodies’ intelligence. Her job is simply to help us listen.
