MODULE 2.1

Ecosystem

Nine business types, one network.

Course · Community

A Dharte Promoter knows who is in the ecosystem and which of the nine categories they belong to. That knowledge is what lets you make the right introductions.

The nine categories

Facilitators, brands, service providers, venues, institutes, artists, factories, seekers and travellers, interns and students. Each category has different commission economics and different rhythms.

Mapping a business to a category

Some businesses sit in two categories — a yoga school is both a facilitator (sessions) and an institute (teacher training). When in doubt, ask: how does the business primarily earn? That is its primary category.

Where promoters spend their time

Most active promoters spend the bulk of their time in two or three categories. Pick yours based on where you have credibility, network, or curiosity. The Promoter Course unlocks deeper modules for the categories you choose.

Reflection. Which two categories feel most natural to you? Which one are you most curious about but inexperienced in?
Exercise. Pick three Dharte businesses you have heard of. Categorise each. If you cannot, ask in the next networking call.
