News and PR are the tools that give a Dharte Promoter visibility, credibility, and reach — beyond their immediate network. This module covers how to write articles for the Dharte newsletter, how to build personal PR as a Promoter, how to get media coverage for events, and how to use social media as a strategic PR tool. Your story and your presence are your most powerful assets.

Writing for the Dharte Newsletter

The Dharte newsletter reaches thousands of wellness seekers, practitioners, and businesses. Articles: 400–800 words, personal, honest, no promotional language. Topics that perform: personal sustainability habits, meditation experiences, local eco-initiatives, practitioner interviews, genuine product reviews. Submit to megha@dharte.net.

Personal PR as a Promoter

Your personal brand is your business. Every post, article, event, and interaction is a PR opportunity. Define your niche clearly: who you are, who you serve, and what you stand for. Consistent messaging across WhatsApp, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook builds the recognition that converts to clients and referrals.

Getting Media Coverage for Events

Local press, wellness blogs, podcasts, and Instagram pages are always looking for stories. A Dharte event with a clear angle — sustainability, community, conscious living — is genuinely newsworthy. Write a simple one-page press release: what, who, where, when, and why it matters. Send 2 weeks before the event.

Social Media as PR

Instagram @dhartehouse, Facebook DharteIN, YouTube @dharte, LinkedIn Dharte. Tag Dharte in every event post. Use #DhartePromoter #SustainabilityAndWellness consistently. Repost from @dhartehouse to your own account with a personal comment. Every tag and share extends your reach and signals your active membership in the ecosystem.

📋 Assignment

Build your News & PR presence — publish 3 articles and execute one PR action for your next event

Minimum: 3 published articles + 1 press release or media outreach completed

  1. 📝 Write 3 articles for the Dharte newsletter — 400–600 words each, personal, honest, one real story per article. Topics: one sustainability habit, one wellness experience, one community story.
  2. 📋 End each article with: your name · city · one line about who you are · WhatsApp or Instagram handle
  3. 📤 Email all 3 articles as a single PDF to megha@dharte.net — Subject: Module 04 Articles
  4. 📣 Write a one-page press release for your next Dharte event. Include: event name, date, location, what it is, who it is for, and one quote from you as the organiser.
  5. 📧 Send your press release to at least 3 local press contacts, wellness bloggers, or podcast hosts in your area.
  6. 📤 Email press release + proof of outreach (screenshots) to megha@dharte.net — Subject: Module 04 PR Assignment
⭐ Bonus: Get one piece of media coverage — an article, a podcast mention, an Instagram feature, or a local press mention — for you or a Dharte event. Screenshot and include in your submission.

💡 PR is not about boasting — it is about sharing something genuinely useful or interesting with people who need it. Lead with the value, not the promotion.
